Police say two men fell to their deaths following a raid on a suspected illegal gambling establishment in Kwun Tong on Tuesday evening.
Police say the men, a 46-year-old surnamed Wong and a 58-year-old surnamed Choi, were climbing on the outer wall of the building, when they apparently slipped and fell. They were sent unconscious to United Christian Hospital, where they were declared dead.
The incident happened as officers from the Kowloon East Regional Crime Unit were raiding an industrial building unit on Tsun Yip Street, following an illegal gambling tip-off.
In the raid, officers arrested a mainland man and four local women, aged between 26 and 62, on suspicion of illegal gambling.
