Turnout passes the one million mark in Legco poll

More than a million Hongkongers had voted in the Legislative Council elections by early Sunday evening.

As of 5.30pm, 1,033,968 votes had been cast for the 20 seats in the ten geographical seats.

That’s a turnout rate of 23.12 percent.

At the same time in the 2016 Legco elections, turnout was at 35.30 percent.
