Police confirmed on Tuesday that they arrested three men on suspicion of illegal assembly and assault, in connection with an alleged attack this month by a group of black-clad people on campus security guards at Chinese University.
The university said three students were arrested after police raided several student dormitories on Monday.
Another student was arrested earlier this month.
The university’s student union said one of those arrested was a member.
University management called the police after several people allegedly ran amok at a security counter set up near University MTR Station.
They were alleged to have damaged some facilities and thrown an unknown white powder at the guards before fleeing.
