Three buildings locked down for testing

Authorities have put three residential blocks in Kwun Tong, Sham Shui Po and Kwai Chung under overnight lockdown, after residents there tested preliminary positive for Covid-19.

Tower 3 of Grand Central on 33 Hip Wo Street, Fu Yuet House of Fu Cheong Estate and Yat Kwai House of Kwai Chung Estate were cordoned off on Wednesday evening.

Residents of the three blocks are required to undergo mandatory testing, and authorities say they expect the operations to finish at around 6:30am and 7am respectively.
