Teacher resigns after projecting porn onto screen

The Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers on Friday said it’s shocked by a report about a secondary school teacher watching porn during lesson time.

Leung Shek Chee College confirmed in a statement that the teacher accidentally projected some porn images onto the screen during a class, which were seen by some students.

The girls’ school in Kwun Tong said the teacher had admitted his wrongdoing and resigned with immediate effect.

It said it had offered counselling to students affected, adding that a report has been made to the Education Bureau and the police.

In a statement, the Federation of Education Workers said the teacher had allegedly violated his professional conduct.

It urged the Education Bureau to investigate the incident and revoke the teacher’s license if the allegations are substantiated.
