T3 Signal to remain in force for some time

The Observatory says the Strong Wind Signal Number 3 will remain in force for sometime during the day on Tuesday.

It said Typhoon Cempaka was hovering over the offshore waters of western Guangdong and was maintaining a distance of about 200 km from Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, the Education Bureau has said kindergarten classes, schools for children with physical disabilities, and schools for children with intellectual disabilities are suspended today.
