The testing order covers visitors on May 9 and 16 and does not apply to people who only visited Tamar Park, according to a notice issued by the government late on Sunday night.
Anyone who spent at least an hour in the shopping mall at World Wide Plaza in Central on May 16 is also ordered to take a test. Tests must be completed by Wednesday, and anyone who took a test between Friday and Sunday is excluded, as is anyone who was fully vaccinated at least 14 days ago.
Both places were visited by a domestic helper who tested preliminary positive on Sunday for the N501Y strain of Covid-19.
Testing orders were also issued for anyone who spent at least two hours at Kam Wing House at Kam Hay Court in Ma On Shan between May 10 and Sunday, and for anyone who visited Virtus Medical Centre in Middle Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, on May 14 or on Friday.
The deadline for testing is also Wednesday, and the same exemptions apply.
A nurse who tested positive for the coronavirus on Sunday had been to both places.
