Political assistant Kenneth Ng quits govt

Kenneth Ng, political assistant to the constitutional and mainland affairs minister, has resigned and will leave the administration on August 30, the government announced on Thursday.

Ng, a former TVB journalist, will join the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority as general manager of communications and public affairs.

Constitutional Affairs Secretary Erick Tsang thanked Ng “for his contributions to the bureau during his tenure and wished him all the best in his future endeavours and that he would continue to make contributions to Hong Kong.”

Tsang’s deputy, Andy Chan, also resigned earlier this year, citing health reasons.
