Olympians train focus on Tokyo amid Covid distraction

The first foreign athletes have started arriving in Japan for the Tokyo Olympics, as organisers press ahead with the sports showcase despite the Covid-19 emergencies in Japan.

Hong Kong athletes are also busy preparing for the Games, but they say it’s been a struggle to stay physically and mentally fit.

Winne Hung, who will represent Hong Kong in rowing, and gymnast Shek Wai-hung spoke to RTHK’s Wong Yin-ting about how they have managed to stay focused in the middle of a global pandemic.
