No new coronavirus cases found after Tai Po lockdown

Health officials said on Monday that no new coronavirus cases were found after around 390 residents of a Tai Po building were tested overnight.

The lockdown at Block 10 of Tai Po Centre was lifted at 6:30 am on Monday morning.

On Sunday, a 24-year-old women who lives in Block 10 of Tai Po Centre was confirmed to have caught the Delta variant of the virus from her colleague – who worked part-time at customer services in Uptown Plaza.

Hong Kong has recorded 11,917 Covid-19 infections, with 211 deaths.
