No Covid cases found after three lockdowns end

The government said it did not find any Covid-19 cases after three overnight lockdown operations held in Aberdeen, Lai Chi Kok and Tung Chung wrapped up on Wednesday morning.

Ka Sing House, Ka Lung Court on Tin Wan Praya Road in Aberdeen was one of the buildings locked down. A 67-year-old woman, who visited the Little Boss pet shop in Causeway Bay and has since been confirmed with Covid lives there.

Her husband is a preliminary positive case.

Mei Foo Sun Chuen Phase 3 was also cordoned off, after a resident – a 26-year-old kindergarten teacher – tested preliminary positive. Health authorities were still tracing the source of her infection.

Residents of Monterey Cove Tower 1 in Caribbean Coast Phase 1 in Tung Chung were also ordered to be tested after a student, 16, tested preliminary positive. He’s a classmate of an earlier confirmed case studying at the Delia Memorial School in Mei Foo.

About 2,115 people were tested in the three operations.
