Mandatory testing ordered for 40 places

The government on Friday issued compulsory testing notices for 40 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who stayed in any of these premises for more than two hours between April 2 and 15 must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19 on Saturday or Sunday.

The buildings are located in Tuen Mun, Kowloon City, Tai Wai, Cheung Sha Wan, Diamond Hill, Lam Tin, Chai Wan, Tin Shui Wai, Kwun Tong, Ap Lei Chau, Sheung Shui, Tai Po, Ngau Tau Kok, Tsing Yi, Ma On Shan, Kwai Chung, Sha Tin, Ngau Chi Wan, Sai Wan Ho, Aberdeen, Tseung Kwan O, Shau Kei Wan, Tsuen Wan, Shek Kip Mei, Quarry Bay and Ho Man Tin.

The Centre for Health Protection reported 946 new Covid infections on Friday.
