Lockdowns find six preliminary positive cases

Six preliminary positive cases have been found in two of three overnight lockdowns imposed by health authorities.

Health officials found five preliminary positive Covid cases at an overnight lockdown in Ha Kwai House in Kwai Chung Estate – the centre of a major outbreak – after testing about 525 people.

Another preliminary positive case was found in Fu Tak House at Tai Wo Hau Estate, where 1,695 residents were tested overnight.

No new cases were found after about 80 people were tested at a lockdown in Hing Fung Building in Sham Shui Po.

Hong Kong recorded 109 cases on Monday, with dozens more at the Kwai Chung public housing estate.
