Lockdowns find 24 Covid infections

Health authorities on Tuesday found 24 Covid infections after locking down two buildings in Kwai Chung and Tin Shui Wai.

Sixteen of the cases were from Hei Lai House of Wah Lai Estate.

The other eight were picked up at Shui Fung House of Tin Shui (II) Estate.

On Tuesday afternoon, officials sealed off another two buildings, in Sha Tin and Fanling, for overnight Covid tests.

Shou Chuen House of Shui Chuen O Estate and Cheung Fung House of Cheung Wah Estate were covered by the restriction notices.

The government said it issued the orders after considering the viral load in sewage samples, as well as infections linked to the buildings.
