Lockdown in Tai Wai finds 15 preliminary Covid cases

Health officials said on Wednesday they’ve picked up 15 preliminary Covid-19 cases in the lockdown of Mei Fung House at Mei Lam Estate in Tai Wai.

They were among nearly 2,700 residents who underwent testing overnight.

The preliminary cases came from eight flats – four in Block A and the rest in Block B.

Officials said 74 of the units did not answer the door, adding that they will take follow-up action accordingly.
