Kindergarten teacher is latest unlinked Covid case

Health authorities on Tuesday reported a suspected Covid-19 infection that is untraceable involving a kindergarten teacher.

The teacher, 26, works in Quarry Bay and lives in Mei Foo Sun Chuen.

She last went to work at the kindergarten on January 15 and started developing symptoms on Sunday.

Authorities said she had been to a number of malls and a restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui over the weekend.

Hong Kong recorded 18 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, 11 of which are local cases.
