HKU students granted bail in national security case

Three University of Hong Kong students charged under the national security law were granted bail by the High Court on Friday, after spending more than a month behind bars.

Charles Kwok, Kinson Cheung and Chris Todorovski are accused of advocating terrorism.

They were released on bail of HK$100,000 and ordered to report to the police three times a week.

Other conditions include not taking part in any acts opposing the authorities, or making comments that could be seen as endangering national security.

A fourth defendant in the case, Anthony Yung, was granted bail earlier.
