HK reports no new Covid cases, sixth time this month

Hong Kong reported no new Covid-19 infections on Saturday – the sixth time this month.

All 28 cases reported in the past fortnight were imported, and health officials also said there were fewer than five preliminary positive cases for the day.

The pandemic situation in the SAR has been quite stable, despite a recently growing number of cases in the mainland and the spread of the Delta variant elsewhere in Asia.

The city has recorded 11,984 Covid-19 infections so far, with 212 deaths.
