HK adds five new imported Covid cases

The Centre for Health Protection on Wednesday reported five additional coronavirus cases, all involving inbound travellers.

The patients arrived from the Philippines, Jordan and Japan.

All of them had received two doses of vaccine and were asymptomatic.

Meanwhile, health authorities say they have suspended all Turkish Airlines passenger flights from Istanbul until October 12.

They said it’s because a passenger who arrived with a Turkish Airlines flight on Sunday had tested positive for covid-19, while two other passengers were found to have failed to comply with health regulations.
