Foodpanda and couriers ‘to continue talking’

Foodpanda management and courier representatives look set to meet again on Thursday, after failing to reach a consensus to avoid further strike action, following hours of talks.

The workers say they are unhappy with the food delivery platform’s decision to cut delivery fees and suspensions triggered by customer complaints.

Industrial action over the weekend by some food couriers led to a disruption of deliveries in Tsim Sha Tsui and To Kwa Wan.

Earlier this week, Foodpanda said cutting base service fees for certain districts didn’t necessarily mean workers would earn less.
