Compulsory testing ordered for 27 locations

The government on Thursday evening issued compulsory testing notices (CTNs) ordering people who had visited 27 specified places to get tested for Covid.

The affected buildings include five residential blocks in Tin Shui Wai, four in Yuen Long, and two each in Tuen Mun, Tseung Kwan O and Wong Tai Sin.

CTNs were also issued for buildings in 12 other districts across Hong Kong.

The government said the compulsory testing requirement also applied to people who had been vaccinated.

The Centre for Health Protection said Hong Kong reported 6,116 coronavirus cases on Thursday.
