Cheung Sha Wan couple arrested for attempted murder

Police on Saturday arrested a man and a woman, aged 38 and 33, on suspicion of attempted murder, in a suspected murder suicide case involving charcoal burning.

The incident allegedly took place on Friday at a flat on Lai Ying Street in Cheung Sha Wan.

The couple’s sons, aged six and two, had been in the flat at the time.

The sons were sent to Caritas Medical Centre in a conscious state.
