95 preliminary cases found in Sheung Shui lockdown

Authorities said on Thursday evening that a lockdown on a Sheung Shui building had found 95 preliminary positive Covid-19 cases.

It said 2,250 people at Tin Hee House in Tin Ping Estate had been tested since the compulsory testing order was imposed at 6.30pm on Wednesday.

Ten people’s results were indeterminate and officials will follow up on them.

A government spokesman said officials also visited around 820 households, among which 30 households did not answer the door. Authorities will take measures to follow up.

The spokesman reiterated that anyone who had been to the building for more than two hours from February 10 to February 23 had to get tested by Friday.
