Belarusian embassy in London attacked

MINSK – The embassy of Belarus in London was attacked Sunday evening, and one Belarusian diplomat was diagnosed with a broken nose, a minor concussion and a traumatic tooth fracture, according to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The attackers tried to escape after the arrival of the police, and some of them were detained. They are presumably part of the group of Belarusian emigrants "Nadzeya" and "Hope", the press service said.

The charge d'affaires of Britain in Minsk has been summoned. The Foreign Ministry of Belarus has filed a protest with the demand to conduct a thorough investigation of the incident.
